Manpack Terminals

Depending on the tactical application, manpack terminals offered by GISS can be distinguished into three groups: modular manpack terminals, modular motorized terminals and terminals with flat panel antennas.

Design of modular terminals is based on swappable elements - modules, which allows to change operating frequency band of the terminal or modem without use of additional tools. Furthermore, each terminal can be equipped with one of two types of power supply modules: Basic - using mains power, and Ultra - allowing the terminal to operate uninterrupted from AC supply, DC source or BB-2590 batteries (with charging support).
