CSfC Solutions
In today's rapidly evolving technological world, the boundaries between civilian and military sectors are becoming increasingly blurred. A growing spectrum of solutions originally designed for the civilian market now finding their applications in military systems. CSfC Solutions - Commercial Solutions for Classified - represents Curtiss Wright's response to this market need, perfectly embodied by the PacStar 400 Series family of networking devices.
CSfC is also a program led by the NSA (US National Security Agency), and appropriately configured and programmed PacStar 400 Series devices meet its requirements, allowing to transmit classified information without additional encryption devices. Similar systems can be developed in other NATO countries through collaboration with the respective accreditation authority responsible for certifying information systems for transmitting classified information in particular country.
Components of CSfC systems
CSfC systems can be equipped with network components such as:
- Secure Wireless Command Post (SWCP) Wi-Fi. A small, modular communications package enabling wireless mobility for smartphones, tablets, and laptops connected to classified and unclassified networks in deployed, expeditionary, and tactical environments.
- Secure Mesh Command Post (SMCP). small, modular, COTS communications package that enables remote command post and network support vehicles to communicate with primary command post vehicles over mesh wireless networks.
- SWCP-X (Extension). PacStar SWCP-X enables classified and unclassified wireless for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-end user device (V2E) communications in expeditionary and tactical environments.
- SWCP for Controlled, Unclassified Information (CUI). Enables wireless and mobility for Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) mobile devices in expeditionary and tactical environments.
- SWCP TLS. Fully integrated, expeditionary solution that provides warfighters the ability to transmit classified information over wireless networks in the field using LTE-enabled commercial smartphones and tablets.
- Secure, Modular, Agile, Ruggedized, and Tactical (SMART) Gateway. Small form factor, modular communications package enabling wireless access and services for mobile devices including COTS smartphones and laptops for classified and unclassified networks in tactical and expeditionary environments.
- Fully integrated solution, including different levels of classified information (up to Top Secret).
- Based on hardware platforms series PacStar 400 small form factor (SWaP optimized – size, weight and power consumption).
- Wireless mobility for smartphones, tablets and notebooks connected to classified and unclassified networks.
- Ability to use embedded, commercial Wi-Fi on end-user devices.
- Solution architecture meeting the requirements of NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program.
