SatPack COBALT
The SatPack COBALT satellite terminals are a family of lightweight, modular portable terminals designed for easy transport and operation by a single user, providing reliable connectivity in any conditions.
SatPack COBALT terminals are compatible with transmitters ranging from 5W to 40W, offering the ability to operate in X, Ku and Ka bands. They can be equipped with antenna size from 60 cm to 1.3 m. The system supports satellite modems manufactured by NDSatCom, Teledyne Paradise Datacom, ST Engineering iDirect and Comtech.
Additionally, every terminal in the family is equipped with an intuitive satellite pointing assistance system. Using built-in position sensors, our proprietary algorithm determines the required reflector settings in three axes—azimuth, elevation, and polarization. Necessary terminal position adjustments are indicated to the user on an integrated graphical display.
Fully modular concept
Changing the operating band requires swapping the RF module and antenna feed. When changing the modem used, only the Modem Module is replaced. Both operations are quick and do not require use of any tools, which allows the terminal to be easily adapted to the user's needs, even in field conditions.
